that time we went apple picking

Well hey, hey!  It's me!  Posting once a month is what good bloggers do, right?

...

...right?

Whoops.  I have good excuses, but who really cares?

I'm here to share the obligatory autumnal photos of our recent Sunday afternoon spent apple-picking.

We went to Russell Orchards.  It's a perfect place to go apple picking... although sometimes a little crowded this time of year.

In other words, I would have had to wait in line for about half an hour to get the hot, fresh apple cider doughnut I was dreaming of.  And needless to say, that didn't happen.

But we did pick a peck of apples!  And Nell loved it.

I found a very strange apple.

Oh, Nathan was there, too.

And Uncle Andrew and Hannah!

We took a hayride to and from the apple orchard:

And we tried to get Nell to smile amongst the pumpkins.

{Notice I didn't say we succeeded.}

Hurray for Fall.  And hurray for blogging, even if rather rarely, it seems.
